For Mentors

Welcome

Are you hyped about Project Oscillon? Do you want to be involved but joining a student team is not your fit? If you are interested in becoming a mentor for one of the student groups, you are at the right place.

Let's explain what mentorship at Project Oscillon entails. For any firther questions, feel free to reach out.

Profile of a Mentor ✅

  • Strong communicative skills (English)
  • Likes to help other students
  • Is not afraid to present him/herself
  • Wants to take the lead during team meetings
  • Is available for at least 1-2 hours a week to answer questions and work with the team

Phase 1

Help your students get to know each other and the project. Consider a fun activity together, like a power walk, a sip&paint or just grab a coffee in Delft. Check in with your students and inspire them with new ideas ✨.

Phase 2

After some months, it's time for your students to gather feedback. You are checking in and staying in touch via Discord🎙️. Assist with technical or creative challenges, or escalate them to the organization if needed.

Phase 3

Prepare for the final presentations. Be active in wrapping up the project. The final event is on [date], so be there to support your students! If your team wins, you can celebrate together and give a thank-you speech 🏆.

Pre-register here to stay up to date. You will receive an e-mail when the registrations open.
